Welcome to sporler.net (“Sporler”, “we”, “us”). These Terms govern your use of our website and services. Please read carefully — by using Sporler you agree to be bound by them.
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Imprint.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Sporler. If you're under 16 you may not create an account or submit predictions, regardless of any parental consent.
2. Service Description
Sporler is a spoiler-free combat-sports platform offering match listings, post-match scores, fighter follows, watchlists, and a free pick'em prediction game. The pick'em game is for entertainment purposes only and does not involve real-money gambling, betting, or wagering of any kind. No financial transactions occur within Sporler.
3. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the service only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
4. User Content & License
You retain ownership of content you submit (predictions, ratings, friend interactions). By submitting it, you grant Sporler a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, store, and process that content for the purpose of running the service (e.g. publishing your picks on the leaderboard, showing your ratings on a match page). This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit content;
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity;
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or commercially exploit the service;
- Disrupt the service or circumvent its security.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Reporting & Notice-and-Action (DSA)
If you encounter content you believe is illegal or violates these Terms, report it to report@sporler.net. We aim to review reports within 7 days. EU authorities may contact us at the same address.
7. Intellectual Property
All Sporler-owned content (logos, design, original editorial copy) is © Sporler. Third-party content (match data, fighter information) belongs to its respective rights holders and is used under license from our data providers.
8. Predictions Disclaimer
Sporler is not a gambling operator. Predictions are non-binding, non-monetary, and have no payout. Pick'em leaderboards exist for fun.
9. Limitation of Liability
Sporler is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of data or profits. This limitation does not affect your statutory consumer rights under German or EU law, and does not apply to liability for personal injury, intent, or gross negligence.
10. Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We'll do our best to give reasonable notice for material changes.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the competent court at the seat of the operator, unless mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Imprint, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sporler regarding the service.
